All extra cab models are long wheel base with a short bed, either the european style or american style will work. If you plan on keeping your truck like I am I would recommend a new fiber glass bed visit the main site link for more info

I forgot I removed the links for the beds here they are.

Oh believe me i plan on keepin it! Ive wanted one for 20 years, Toyota only made to body styles in their pickups that i like and those are the ones like i have now that have the built in fender flares and the older ones like the 75, 76, 77, which to my knowledge they did not make in 4x4! I have a 1975 that was automatic tranny with AC but the A/C has been removed , it still has the automatic tranny tho and needs an engine! Thanks for the info on the beds!

Nothing personnel but I will have to disagree I find fiberglass easier to work with than metal when it comes to repairs. If you check all the pictures at B&G Fiberglass and Toyota Fiberglass I think you'll find them quit rugged.

I'm not sure what part of your bed is bad but you may be able to find what you need here. http://www.alfaparts.net/toyota.htm
